Famously Hot New Year
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The City of Columbia is prepping for a big New Year’s bash.
This Saturday December 31 marks the sixth annual Famously Hot New Year.
It will take place in downtown Columbia, S.C., next to S.C. State House, from 6:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m..
The event includes a free concert by New Orleans musical royalty, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, along with jangle-pop stars Sister Hazel; a midnight countdown; the biggest NYE fireworks display in the Carolinas; easy and affordable transportation options; food trucks and a “Comfort Zone” seating area; and beer, wine & bubbly bars.
