Light Snow, Little Accumulation in Midlands

COLUMBIA , SC  ( WOLO )–Early Saturday morning rain turned to snow in parts of the Midlands.

Light snow could be seen falling in parts of the Northwest Midlands , including Irmo and Ballentine.

Rain and sleet fell between the hours of 8am and 10am, but there was no significant snowfall.

By 11:30am the sun was shining across parts of the Midlands.

Newberry and Winnsboro saw heavier snowfall but still no major accumulation in Midlands .
