Crews Battle Apartment Fire in Orangeburg

Orangeburg, SC (WOLO)– Fire crews in Orangeburg battled an apartment fire for over two hours Tuesday.
A Spokesperson with the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety says the fire started in the 1200 building and impacted 10 units at Roosevelt Apartments on Judicial Court.
The American Red Cross disaster-trained volunteers are assisting 20 people, nine adults and 11 children. The Red Cross is providing financial assistance for food, clothing, lodging, and other essentials, and comfort kits containing personal hygiene items
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
