COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Fixing South Carolina’s roads is a number one priority for Governor Henry McMaster.

The Governor says the roads bill is number one at this time, but he says the question is where do we get the money?

The Governor says he will not approve a roads bill that raises the gas tax to help fund repairs.

The Senate adjourned Thursday without making a move on the bill. The Senate is expected to return Tuesday to pick up debate on the roads bill.
