USC Women’s Basketball Team Honored at State House

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The USC Women’s Basketball team was honored Tuesday at the State House for their National Championship win.

The team, along with head coach Dawn Staley were given the accolades during a special assembly at the State House.

Tuesday was also declared Gamecock Women’s Basketball Day.

Head Coach Dawn Staley also received the Order of the Silver Crescent Award from Governor Henry McMaster.
