RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Richland Library is hosting a week full of events in honor of National Women’s Health Week, Sunday through Friday.
Self-Defense Class
9 a.m. – 1p.m.

Richland Library Southeast
This is a crime-prevention program with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department that utilizes techniques, specifically designed for women, to reduce the likelihood of victimization. It allows women to recognize their strengths and make sound decisions when faced with potentially dangerous situations. Register here.

This informative presentation with Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands will be an interactive discussion about how to support survivors of sexual violence.
Active Yoga

Expect to expand your range of motion. City Yoga will warm up the body with movements coordinated with breath and then use a focus on alignment of the muscles and bones to create classic yoga postures.
Gentle Yoga

Learn the facts about depression and anxiety in women from the University of South Carolina’s Psychology Services Center. Be aware of what signs to look for in yourself or family members as well as how it affects you physically, mentally and emotionally.
