Put down that razor – for a GREAT cause

How whiskers will provide a ride for a road racer and honor a fallen brother

LEXINGTON SC (WOLO)–The men’s fitness organization F3 is asking you to put down the razor – at least for a couple months – as part of a fundraiser to purchase a Hoyt Racing Chair.  The chair is designed to carry a passenger while running, and will be part of a fleet of chairs keep in the “Speed for Need” trailer, that are deployed for various F3 events around the southeast.

Participants of the Whiskers for Wheels program are asked to stop shaving TODAY, with a kickoff this afternoon at the Keg Cowboy in Lexington, and let the beard grow until November 14.

F3 Lexington’s furry faced effort to raise $5000 to purchase the chair is in honor of John “Cheech” Flanagan who was killed while running in June.
