Job fair seeks to knock down barriers to employment

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – United Way of the Midlands, in partnership with Richland Library, is hosting a job fair Wednesday morning at the main branch location on Assembly Street.

The Breaking Barriers Employment Resource Fair takes place from 9 a.m. to noon. The event is open to the public. It’s designed to help Midlands residents experiencing challenges like homelessness, lack of transportation or physical disabilities secure long-term employment.
