Irmo Police Announce Public Safety Checkpoints

IRMO, SC (WOLO– The Irmo Police Department has announced they will be conducting a Public Safety Checkpoint this week.

According to police, it will take place in the New Friarsgate subdivision on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

During a public safety checkpoint, officers will be checking driver’s licenses, vehicle registration, and
insurance.

According to police, they are conducting the checkpoint in response to collisions, traffic complaints.
