Columbia Arts Center Launches New Art Series

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Are you ready for some creativity at the  Columbia Art Center?

Thursday night the Art Center will kick off a new arts series to celebrate and explore various cultures in the city.

The Worlds of Creativity series will begin with an exploration of African American culture through art and music, according to City officials.

 Artists include Keith Tolen, Rogers Baskin, Thomas Washington, Gerard Washington and Mary Graham Grant. Grant will provide a presentation on sweet grass basket making.

 The Columbia Art Center is located at 1227 Taylor Street, Suite C.
