COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — On Wednesday morning, the Gamecocks officially began spring practices.

USC will practice 15 times between Wednesday and March, including the Garnet and Black Spring Game on March 31.

USC returns 16 starters from a group that finished 9-4 with an Outback Bowl win over Michigan on January 1 in Tampa, but lose notable starters including tight end Hayden Hurst and linebacker Skai Moore.

Most practices this spring will be located at the new practice fields at Gamecock Park.
