COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The first non-coastal community in the state has banned certain plastic use.

Arcadia Lakes, passed a new ordinance banning businesses from using single-use plastic bags and styrofoam.

On Friday morning, leaders presented the town’s plans.
