Swansea boil water advisory put in place Friday is lifted
Swansea, SC (WOLO) — Several areas in the Town of Swansea that were placed under a water boil advisory Friday May 10th, 2019, are in the clear. The water boil advisory has been lifted and residents in the impacted areas are now able to consume their water without having to boil it first. There have been no confirmed cases of contamination.
Officials tell us the damaged water main was replaced, and the were flushed, and bacteriological samples were taken and analyzed. Water department officials say results of those samplings indicate that the water system is safe
for drinking and cooking purposes.

- S Monmouth Ave (South of W 5th St, S Breacon Ave), (South of W 3rd St)
