Major Flooding Threat From Tropical Storm Barry

Topical Storm Barry is centered less than 200 miles south of New Orleans. It’s expected to intensify as it slowly drifts to the north over the next several days. The biggest threat from the storm is flooding. As much as 18 inches of rain is expected in some areas of Louisiana over the next few days. And the Mississippi River is already at capacity because of all the rain that’s fallen upstream over the past year.
