Red Cross assists tornado victims

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–The Palmetto SC region of the Red Cross says it assisted more than 660 people following the strong storms and tornados that hit on April 13th.
A spokesperson for the organization says it helped place survivors in overnight shelters.
Officials with the Red Cross say they also distributed thousands of meals and provided disaster health and mental health contacts.
