Sumter Co. Sheriff: Man arrested for assault, firing gun at vehicle
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested 18-year-old Taqwan Omar Sharif Abrams on October 7.

According to authorities, on October 7, Abrams pushed a female victim on the floor and later fired a gun outside in the yard on Utah Road. Deputies say Abrams later fired a gun in the direction of a vehicle that contained the victim as well as another adult and three minors.
Officials say Abrams has been charged with domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature as well as assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
