From the Suit Song to riding Harley’s, Charlene Amoia returns to TV

Tyler Ryan chats with "Wendy the Waitress" about her new series on Pure Flix

HOLLYWOOD CA (WOLO) – Charlene Amoia is a very familiar face to moviegoers and television watchers.

From Grey’s Anatomy, 9-1-1, Shameless, House, Criminal Minds, Days of Our Lives,  to appearing in American Pie: Reunion on the big screen  her list of credits is a long one, including some of the biggest shows and most successful movie franchises of recent note.  Amoia is also well known for her role of Wendy the Waitress on the hit series How I Met Your Mother.

In 2019, she starred in a series called Sons of Thunder, about a biker that rides across the country, working where he can, and helping people that God puts in his path.  The show aired for two seasons, and a few weeks ago, the spin off, Sons of Thunder: Redemption began airing on Pure Flix.

Amoia reprises her role of Sandy in the follow-up series, and speaks with ABC Columbia’s Tyler Ryan about the new role, and the Suit Song.
