SLED: Lancaster man charged with assault and battery
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) says they arrested 35 year-old Samuel Earl Sinclair on Oct. 27 for assault and battery in the 2nd degree.
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) says they arrested 35 year-old Samuel Earl Sinclair on Oct. 27 for assault and battery in the 2nd degree.
Sinclair was charged after an investigation requested by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials say, while at Erwin Elementary, Sinclair placed his hands on the buttocks of the victim without permission. The defendant blocked the door when the victim attempted to get away and attempted to kiss them.
Sinclair was booked at the Lancaster County Detention Center. His case will be prosecuted by the 6th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
