Coroner: Lexington County man identified after fatal shooting

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The Lexington County Coroner has announced the identity of the man who was shot on Saturday, Oct. 28.

Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the man who was shot in the 200 block of Two Notch Road in the Lexington area of Lexington County as 32-year-old Dustin Chase Edward Northcutt.

Northcutt was shot in the upper body area and pronounced dead at the scene, said Coroner Fisher.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office say they are continuing to investigate the shooting.
