Deputies: Sumter woman arrested for trafficking while under house arrest
SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office says a woman was arrested for drug trafficking and gun charges while under house arrest.
Deputies say Almanda Teal was arrested on Nov.1, 2023, in relation to a search warrant issued on Oct. 31, 2023.
Teal’s charges are trafficking in fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of psilocybin, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
During the search of the home, several types of illegal drugs were found along with a gun, Sumter deputies say.
She was taken to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center where she is being held without bond.
