RCSD1 employees personal information potentially exposed

Richland Co., S.C. (WOLO)–Employees of Richland School District One may have hand their personal data exposed.

Thursday a spokesperson for the district announced that during a data conversion with one of the district’s document management systems some employees personal information like addresses and social security numbers were visible to other employees.

We’re told the information was only exposed to other employees and not the general public.
Officials say district staff is working with the vendor to determine how many people were affected.
