Town of Lexington held its annual Snowball Parade

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– It is the most wonderful time of the year and many in Lexington were in the holiday spirit.

The Town of Lexington held its annual Christmas gathering known as the Snowball Parade.

140 marchers, three dance companies, five high school marching bands, and tons of floats made their way through town as a crowd of people gathered to enjoy the day.

City leaders were spotted at the parade throwing out candy to the crowd as they moved along the route.

The Christmas parade is a part of the annual Snowball Festival.

Up next for events that are a part of the festival will be a carnival on Saturday, Dec.16.
