Orangeburg County School District renovating athletic facilities for student athletes
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO)– Using money from a referendum approved by voters last year Orangeburg County School District is renovating athletic facilities for its student athletes.
On Monday morning another one of the district’s 6 turf field projects broke ground.
The new athletic turf being installed at the Branchville High School will be used for both football and soccer games.
Not only will the field look nicer with turf installed, it will also require less upkeep say leaders.
The turf field is expected to take 8 weeks to complete.
