Lexington Police still accepting donations for Toys for Tots campaign

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington Police Department is wrapping up its Toys for Tots campaign at Clutch Coffee.

It’s an urgent need as the Marines Toys for Tots Foundation says it’s running out of toys for the holiday season.

So if you happen to be traveling along Columbia Avenue the police department is asking for you to swing by the coffee shop.

You can either drop off a toy or simply treat yourself to a drink.

Officers have been at the coffee shop making coffee for customers since 5 a.m.

Clutch Coffee says it will be donating all proceeds beyond expenses to Toys for Tots.

Anyone unable to make it to the coffee shop before 9 p.m. can still donate or drop off toys through the entire month at the Lexington Police Department.
