The Consumer in Me: Get ready for snuggle season

COLUMBIA SC (WOLO) – As we turn the page on the new year and the Holiday season, you could make the argument that we are entering a new season: Snuggle Season.
Pajamas have always been popular, and a symbol of relaxation and comfort, worn by people during leisure, and everyone’s favorite comfort uniform enjoyed a huge spike in popularity during covid, when many people never had the need to get out of them all day. And this might surprise you, but a study in Bedtime Magazine found that in addition to lounging all day in them, 74% of people wear them to bed every night. In fact, I have memories of my Grandmother giving my Brother and me a pair of PJ’s every year for Christmas, and I would wear the heck out of them, for sure!
I am pretty sure that you have also seen the new PJ trend called Matching Pajamas. This, like the renaissance of PJ’s themselves, have seen a large spike over the last few years.
According to Lazy One’s Jennifer Uy, the popularity continues to grow, for all the right reasons – they are cozy, fun, and festive. Uy shared with this Consumer Reporter some of the super fun matching onesie PJ’s from Lazy One. She also shared some cool ideas, including matching not only your partners and kids, but the furry family as well.
I found my demo set of “flapjacks” to be awesome for the whole group of us at Castle Ryan, and the drop seat made a nifty way to answer a certain call without having to take everything off like George Kostanza. Lazy One also offers a variety of options from traditional jammies to hoodies and more.
