COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– In today’s look at Local Living, several places will honor Martin Luther King Jr., this month.

Chappelle Memorial AME Church is hosting their “MLK Day Celebration” on Monday, Jan 15, at 9:30 p.m.

Representative Annie McDaniel will be the speaker.

You can also buy tickets for the upcoming MLK Freedom Fest Two event.

It starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan.13 at the Colonial life Arena.

You can enjoy a jam packed concert featuring artists like Neto, Faith Evans, Joe, Plies and 112.

The Columbia Museum of Art is honoring MLK Day with free admission.

There will be special MLK Day programming starting with line dancing hosted by Franklin Jones on Boyd Plaza at 1 p.m. and a storytelling celebration at 1:30 p.m.
