Deputies: Teen brought loaded gun to school
Richland Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Richland Co. deputies say a teen is accused of bringing a loaded gun to school.
Investigators say the 15 year old boy was arrested after school administrators were notified he was showing the gun to other students earlier in the week.
When questioned, officials say he admitted to having the weapon and turned it over.
Deputies say he was charged with Possession of a Weapon on School Grounds, Possession of a Pistol Under 18, and Unlawful Carry of a Firearm.
Officials say he was transported to the juvenile wing at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
