Another teen arrested in connection with fatal shooting of pizza delivery driver

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police says another teen has been arrested in connection with last year’s fatal shooting of a Pizza Hut delivery driver.

De’Marcus Boyd and two others are accused of plotting to rob the delivery driver at the Tamarind Apartments on Stoneridge Drive on November 29, 2023.

As a result of the attempted armed robbery the victim was shot and killed.

Boyd’s charges include murder, criminal conspiracy, possession of a stolen pistol & attempted armed robbery.

Investigators say Boyd’s accomplices 18-year-old Trevor Harris and a 17-year-old were arrested also for the shooting.
