Tyler Ryan gets the details of the Columbia Warrior showdown against CFD
COLUMBIA SC (WOLO) – The Veterans who make up the Columbia Warriors Hockey Organization are suiting up to bring the heat to the this weekend.
According to Steve Tristan with the Warrirs, they are made up primarily of Service Members as a way to help with the transition from Active Duty back to civilian life, providing comradery and fellowship, and a mission. “Hockey is still an inspiration to all of us involved. For most of us that played formerly “speaking individually” when you get out you are looking for that sense of involvement or team. I’ve played since I was 2 1/2 years old and forgot the feeling until I got back in in 2021,” says Tristan.
Vic Rodriguez, also with the Team says that the Defenders will take on the CFD Bravest at Flight Adventure Park in Irmo on Saturday at 3:30 PM.
