Lexington Police to celebrate National Night Out August 5

LEXINGTON, SC  (WOLO)–Lexington Police will host National Night Out at Virginia Hylton Park on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 5:30pm-8:30pm.
Chief Terrence Green says the event is an opportunity to connect with local law enforcement and first responders. The event will include food and drinks from local restaurants and more family friendly fun, say organizers.

The event is free. Activities will include Entertainment, music, a fun house and more.

Lexington Police say the Virginia Hylton Park parking lot from South Lake Drive/SC-6 will be closed on the evening of Monday, August 4, 2025, and will remain closed through the next day to allow for preparation of the event.
If attending National Night Out, please find parking in public parking lots near the event as those who park in private business parking lots take the risk of being towed from the property at the
owner’s expense.
