SCDOT to close and detour Colonial Drive bridge over Smith Branch in Richland County for repairs

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SCDOT says the Colonial Drive bridge over Smith Branch in Richland County will close for repairs beginning January 26.

The bridge is expected to reopen on February 6, and as part of the closure a detour route will be set up.

Drivers should note that Colonial Drive will be open to local traffic only, except at the bridge site.

SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
