List of school districts schedule changes due to winter weather

SOUTH CAROLINA (WOLO)– School districts in the Midlands are announcing changes to their schedules Monday due to the winter weather.

Below is a list of the local school districts that have either canceled or switched to e-Learning Monday:

Kershaw Co. School District

  • Kershaw County School District is canceling all weekend activities (Saturday and Sunday) and will shift to an eLearning Day for Monday, January 26

Newberry Co. School District

  • The School District of Newberry County says schools in the district will be on an eLearning schedule on Monday, Jan. 26

Anyone who experiences power outages, communication disruptions, or other safety concerns should notify your child’s school or teachers when it is safe to do so.

Other school districts say they’re monitoring the forecasts and will make announcements of any schedule changes.
