Bishopville player wins big playing lottery

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A Bishopville lottery player got a big surprise after spontaneously purchasing a ticket, said lottery officials.

“It was awesome!” the lottery winner said of the $2 million win.

The millionaire who does not wish to be identified says he’s the same person he was before buying the $20 scratch-off at the B & R Market on E. Church St. in Bishopville.

“I’m still working, but it feels good just to have it,” he told lottery officials.

The winner beat the 1 in 1,480,000 odds in the 200X game.

Four more top prizes of $2 million remain in the game.
