Uber rolls out women-only option

(CNN)– Women are now able to request female drivers on Uber with the new women preferences option.

The option was first launched in a few pilot cities in August and expanded later in the year.

But now, Uber is rolling it out nationwide.

Cities where Uber teen accounts are available will also let those users and their guardians request female drivers.
