SCFC lifts Red Flag Fire Alert for 25 counties

SOUTH CAROLINA (WOLO) – The South Carolina Forestry Commission has lifted the Red Flag Fire Alert today for 25 counties.
The alert, which was issued Wednesday statewide, have expired in the following counties:
- Allendale
- Bamberg
- Beaufort
- Berkeley
- Calhoun
- Charleston
- Chesterfield
- Clarendon
- Colleton
- Darlington
- Dillon
- Dorchester
- Florence
- Georgetown
- Hampton
- Horry
- Jasper
- Kershaw
- Lancaster
- Lee
- Marion
- Marlboro
- Orangeburg
- Sumter
- Williamsburg
The remaining counties will remain under the Red Flag Fire Alert until further notice.
The Forestry Commission still urges vigilance when it comes to burning outdoors.
