Love it or Chuck It: Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap

Manmade Gourmet’s Love It or Chuck It: Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap
What can go wrong when you are talking about a bacon wrap with chicken that includes no wrap at all? Tyler and Vaughan decided to find out.
Per usual, we tried to stick, as best we could, to the recipe that we found…
Here is what you need:
4-5 Slices of Bacon
2 Cups of Chreadded Moz
2 TBSP of Grated Parm
½ Cup of Chicken
1 Cup Romaine
Ranch
How to make it – and it is SIMPLE:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. In a skillet over medium heat, cook your bacon slices until they are about halfway cooked—pliable, slightly rendered, but not yet stiff or fully crispy. Remove and let it cool slightly on towel to remove excess fat
- Line a baking sheet with a sheet of parchment paper. Spread the half your Mozzarella into an even 10-inch circle, add slices of bacon and then the rest of the mozzarella on top. You can also just chop up the bacon and add it like that too
- Grate parmesan evenly over the mozzarella and spray with cooking spray
- Bake for 10–12 minutes. The mozzarella should be bubbling fiercely, and the bacon pieces will finish crisping up directly inside the cheese.
- Remove from the oven and let it sit for 4-5 minutes. Use a clean paper towel to gently dab away any excess oil released by the bacon and cheese.
- Pile your shredded lettuce, warm chicken right then top it with ranch dressing
- Fold the sides in and roll it tightly by hand, tucking it slightly as you go. Use the parchment paper to help guide and compress the roll tightly. Cut in half and serve immediately with extra ranch
