COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— Before you bake another batch of cookies, take a close look inside your fridge.
Nestle USA announces a voluntary recall of its ready-to-bake Nestle Toll House stuffed chocolate chip cookie dough with fudge filling products.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, the items in question may contain small pieces of plastic.
The recall is in effect for the dough produced between June and September of this year.
There are no reports of related illnesses or injuries and officials say this move is being taken out of caution.
Consumers are advised to return the dough to the place of purchase for a full refund.
