A Greenville man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for the sexual exploitation of children, announced South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— A Greenville man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for the sexual exploitation of children, announced South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.

Seth Bruce was found guilty following an investigation into his multiple e-mail accounts. On May 14, Greenville deputies received a cybertip regarding the sharing of child sexual abuse materials.

Authorities say they issued a search warrant on Bruce’s email account and found over 500 images of child sexual abuse materials.

Further investigation led to authorities confiscating digital and computer devices from the defendant’s work office, including a spy camera that was used to record four pre-teen and teen girls at a residence in a Hilton Head bathroom for a six day period, say officials.

Bruce pleaded guilty on January 30th to one count of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, 3rd degree in a case from Greenville County and two counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, 1st degree from Beaufort County.

He will have to register as a Tier 2 sex offender upon his release.
