Back to School “Drills and Skills” program

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin announced an expansion of his back-to-school initiative Thursday. “Drills and Skills”, a program to “prepare young minds and bodies” before the school year, will now include tennis as well as basketball as a part of the event. The clinic is open to boys ages 6 to 17 and girls ages 6 to 17 and will take place August 8-13 from 6 to 8 p.m. The boys will meet at Greenview Park, while the girls will meet at the Charles R. Drew wellness Center. Participants must register ahead of time. The deadline is July 29.
