Police seize cocaine, weapons from Columbia home
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Columbia police have arrested a woman they say was selling cocaine in a house with three children.
Chief Randy Scott said officers found about 65 grams of cocaine with a street value of $7,500 inside a safe at a Columbia home on Friday. Officers also found several guns and surveillance equipment.
Three children ranging in age from four to 10 years old were also at the house and are now with relatives.
Scott says 26-year-old Erica Renee Morgan was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession with intent to distribute within proximity of a park.
Morgan was being held at the Richland County jail Saturday. It wasn’t known if she had an attorney.
