Former business journalist talks on Romney, media

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A former deputy bureau chief for the Dow Jones Newswires and Wall Street Journal is speaking on media coverage in the 2012 presidential campaign.
University of South Carolina spokeswoman Megan Sexton says Rob Wells speaks Wednesday as part of the College of Mass Communications and Information Studies’ weeklong series of events on politics and the media.
Wells speaks at 10 a.m. in the Carolina Coliseum about media coverage of candidate Mitt Romney and role of a businessman involved in private equity.
