Governor Haley State of the State Address: Message
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Governor Nikki Haley is set to give her State of the State Address Wednesday night.
Her speech on the current state of South Carolina is set to begin at 7 p.m. at the State House.
Earlier this month, Haley gave the GOP response to President Barack Obama’s State of the Union.
Haley will likely touch on the Charleston church shooting, the shooting death of Walter Scott and October’s historic flooding.
House Democratic Leader Todd Rutherford announced that State Representative Mandy Powers Norrell will deliver the Democratic response to Governor Haley’s State of the State Address.
Representative Norrell represents Lancaster County, which comprises Lancaster County, in the South Carolina House of Representatives.
