Richland County Sheriff’s Deputies respond to numerous incidents

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–From 4:30pm Wednesday to 4:30am Thursday morning it was a busy 12 hours for Richland County Sheriff’s deputies.
According to the department, they responded to numerous, separate incidents.

Deputies responded to a home on Mellowood Drive where they say an 11 year old was shot in the lower body.
Another shooting was reported on Frasier Fir Lane at 8pm Wednesday.
Deputies were also called to Dupont Drive where they say, a man being threatened with a box cutter, struck another man with his vehicle.

Before 2am Thursday morning deputies say a man broke into a home on Swan Court and threatened a woman at gun point.
And after 4am, deputies responded to Club Bliss on Two Notch Road where they say a man was shot multiple times.
