COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A brother and sister from Richland School District Two launched a shoe drive to help people in need.

In a video post on the district’s Twitter/X page you can see the brother and sister talk about why they started the shoe drive.

A part of the video shows a box with the words ‘Help us keep shoes out of landfills and on the feet of children and adults that need them the most’.

The drive began on Jan. 8 and will run until March. 8 for anyone who wants to take part in giving back and help reach the goal of 5k shoes donated.

To donate unused shoes send an email to 4KidsSC@gmail.com or text 803-477-4054.
