Tik Tok trap trends go viral

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — What was your favorite part of ‘Home Alone’? when harry and marv get the you know what kicked out of them, right? There’s a new trend on Tik Tok, that’s getting millions of views.

People are boobytrapping their hotel rooms all in the name of safety. Really? People are doing just about everything but putting paint cans on ropes. Once the video starts, ten steps later the door is barricaded with everything from towels to hangers. Some even plugging peepholes, putting doorstops underneath connecting rooms. Even using hidden cameras to catch it should the inevitable happen. But here’s the thing,  the stats aren’t available to our ABC Columbia research team, but past years show the crimes they are trying to prevent is almost non-existent.

And, God forbid, you have to get out of your room in a hurry?! If you really want to keep people out of your hotel room, every parent will feel this resonate in their soul,  Legos on the floor. I rest my case.
