Local Living: Newberry College Jazz Festival, Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo, Shuckin’ on the Shoals Oyster Roast

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– In today’s look at Local Living, Newberry College is hosting a Jazz Festival next weekend.
You can enjoy world class artists and music on March 1 and March 2.
The weekend will include two all state jazz ensembles and performances by a record 76 middle and high school jazz bands from across South Carolina.
The event is free to the public.
There is still time to enter to win a family pack of 4 tickets to the Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo next month.
The show rides into the Colonial Life Arena on March 8 and March 9.

The annual Shuckin’ on the Shoals Oyster Roast fundraiser is being held at Saluda Shoals Park on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
There will be all you can eat oysters, steamed shrimp, sides, craft beer and more.
It costs $80 for Saluda Shoals Foundation members, $100 for non-members and $25 for those ages 7 to 12.
6 and under can enter for free.
