Upcoming Cantan board game highlights green energy

(CNN)– A popular board game will release a new version to address climate change.

The makers of Cantan: New Energies have come up with a twist to its original version, The Settlers of Catan.

The object of the game is players must choose between renewable energy or fossil fuel-based power plants in its society.

While fossil fuels may allow a player to grow faster, it will create more pollution and too much pollution will cause problems.

The game is set to debut this summer.
