Pet of the Week: Meet Rufus

COLUMBIA SC (WOLO) – Life is much better with a dog, for sure, and if that is the missing part of your life, Columbia Animal Services may have the answer.
Rufus is a charming mixed breed neutered male who is approximately two years old. Rufus is a gentle soul who adores babies and children of all ages. He gets along famously with both dogs and cats, and enjoys nothing more than a cozy couch, snuggles, and a good movie. Rufus is the epitome of sweet, though he could use a little help in boosting his confidence.
While he walks well on a leash, Rufus is still working on his fear of door thresholds. He is making progress one threshold at a time, and we are confident that he will continue to improve.
Additionally, the City is offering FREE microchipping to Columbia City and Richland County residents on Wednesday June 26, 2024.
