Local Living: Lexington County Peach Festival, Free teen Summer events, Carolina Celebration of Liberty

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, you can enjoy a day of homemade treats at the Lexington County Peach Festival.

There will be live music, local vendors, fireworks and more.

It takes place Thursday, July 4, from 9 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the Gilbert Community Park. The event is free to attend.

 

The Richland County Recreation Commission is hosting a series of free teen events this Summer.

The next event will be a splash party on July 19th from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at St. Andrews Pool.

Kids ages 12 through 17 are invited to connect with others from across the country.

It will be s Sunday of red, white, and blue as the First Baptist Church of Columbia will hold an early independence celebration.

 

The annual Carolina Celebration of Liberty will feature the sanctuary choir and orchestra, along with a cast of hundreds, American flags, and more.

The event is at 6:30 p.m. this Sunday, June 30th.

It is free but you do need advanced tickets.
