Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff Campaign

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The Salvation Army helped ushered in the holiday spirit Monday at the State House.

The Salvation Army’s annual Christmas campaign kickoff event featured a live performance by the Heathwood Hall Episcopal Upper School concert choir.

J.T. Gandolfo, president of JTs Autogroup presented the Salvation Army with a $100,000 check to help the organization.

The familiar red kettles will soon be seen regularly at stores, malls and other locations statewide until Dec. 24.

The ceremony emphasized the many programs the Salvation Army provides not only during the holidays, but also throughout the year.
